24-years old midfielder Martin Fillo said goodbye to his teammates from Viking Stavanger and looks forward to fight for the title in the Czech jersey of Viktoria Plzen. He played in total 65 matches in Tippeliga in the blue and white colours of Viking, and managed to score 14 goals. The clubs didn´t want to publish the amount of the transfer but in the Norwegian media Fillo´s estimated price ranges from four to five million Norwegian crowns (about 12 to 15 million CZK), with a percentage of the potential for further transfer. Viking paid about 8 million NOK in 2008 for the player. Fillo singed for three and half years in Pilsen.

Viking, Pilsen and Fillo as well are all satisfied with the conditions of the transfer. Viking´s sports director Egil Østenstad put it this way: "It's a good solution for everyone. Economically it is ok and in general it is not very useful to hold a player who wishes to change."
